Polka Dot Birthday Card

Using polka dot patterned paper in your card creations can be a lot of fun.  When I read this weeks CAS-ual Fridays challenge, Sweet Spot CFC56, I knew exactly which polka dot paper to use.  I've been waiting for the right challenge to use this bold polka dot pattern from the Emma's Shoppe Collection by Crate Paper.  This polka dot birthday card is my attempt at the CAS-ual Fridays challenge.

Polka Dot Birthday Card Supplies:  White cardstock, polka dot patterned paper by Crate Paper (ES868), red cardstock, white glitter cardstock, Cricut machine, Cricut cartridge (Straight from the Nest, for red flower), Blossom punch by Stampin' Up!, Boho Blossoms punch by Stampin' Up!, rhinestone brad by The Paper Studio, red net ribbon by Creative Impressions, TPC Studios clear sentiment stamp (Greetings set, ST93416), dusk blue and ocean pigment inks from ink stack by Martha Stewart Crafts, and foam tape.
